The Human League é uma banda britânica de New Wave/Synthpop formada no final da década de 1970 (1977), tendo atingido grande popularidade na década de 1980 e regressado depois em meados dos anos 90. Originalmente um grupo pós-punk de sintetizadores de Sheffield, Inglaterra, sua composição tem-se alterado ao longo dos anos, sendo que o único membro original ainda na banda é o vocalista e compositor Philip Oakey. Em seu repertório, destacam-se "Heart like a Wheel", "Human", "Don't you Want Me", "(Keep Feeling) Fascination" e "Open your Heart".
A banda realizou dois shows no Brasil. Sua primeira apresentação foi no festival Nokia Trends. A segunda apresentação foi em um show em 6 Abril de 2011, no Via Funchal, em São Paulo.
A música "Human" é conhecida no Brasil pela novela Hipertensão, de 1986
